Job Description: We are actively seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Avantsum. As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by contracting new customers for our advanced LIMS system while managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for sales, a profound understanding of laboratory processes, and proficiency in English. Professional proficiency in Dutch and/or German is a valuable asset, and travel within Europe may be included in the responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and target potential clients within the laboratory and research sectors across Europe.
  2. Conduct comprehensive market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings.
  3. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in prospective and existing client organizations.
  5. Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our state-of-the-art LIMS system to potential clients.
  6. Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both Avantsum and the client.
  7. Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  8. Travel within Europe for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the software or laboratory equipment industry.
  2. Strong understanding of laboratory processes and information management is a pre.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of proficiency in English.
  4. Professional proficiency in Dutch and/or German is a pre.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  6. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
